This role places a primary emphasis on teaching at the undergraduate level. The presence of the position on the faculty will provide increased intellectual depth and further enhance the quality of teaching and research already underway at ECSU by enhancing active and experiential learning. OR The Department of Natural Sciences at ECSU is actively seeking a dedicated candidate for the position of Professor of Sustainability, focusing on Sustainable Agriculture, Sustainable Energy (hydro, wind, solar), and/or Environmental Science. Responsibilities include shaping the sustainability curriculum with a specific focus on agricultural practices, renewable energy technologies, and environmental science topics such as coastal erosion, conservation, and GIS studies. · Teaching Excellence: We seek an enthusiastic individual with a PhD or master’s degree in Sustainability or a related field from a recognized institution. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to providing high-quality education to a diverse student population. Your role will primarily involve undergraduate instruction in sustainability, including courses such as environmental studies, sustainable practices, and ecological systems.
