Sony Electronics has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Business Planner in our Imaging Solutions Sales and Marketing Group, based in San Diego. In this position, the candidate will provide support to the management team in performing Business Planning functions.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintaining SNA Purchase/Sales/Inventory (PSI) as well as Account (Dealer) PSI in order to maximize sales opportunities while minimizing inventory risk

• Building an accurate Sell-out/Sell-in forecast by diligently analyzing Customer demand/Sales trend for financial accuracy

• Executing inventory allocation to Sales orders while working closely with Marketing, Logistics and order Management groups

• Issuing Reports and arranging meetings for above activities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field is required

• Minimum 3-5 years related experience

• Working knowledge of SAP is required

• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel required

• Experience in demand forecast

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer science, Data science or a related field preferred

• The ability to work independently, prioritize duties and work within tight deadlines

• Demand forecast experience preferably in Consumer Electronics (CE) industry

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $76,000 to $101,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for a bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave after three months of employment,a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave after six months of employment.
