Job Description

The primary objective of this position is to teach undergraduate business courses on campus in Henniker, NH in the Management Division. Additional position responsibilities include committee work, academic advising, program development, maintaining ACBSP accreditation, updating courses, and assessment of online and on-campus business programs. Candidates must have evidence of teaching ability, demonstrated knowledge and use of effective and innovative pedagogy, the ability to work with diverse student populations and faculty, and a commitment to active learning and experiential education in a Liberal Arts college.

 

Essential Duties Summary
  • Teach undergraduate core classes such as Introduction to Business, Information Systems in Organizations, International Business, Financial Accounting, Legal/Ethical Environment of Business, Senior Seminar in Business Administration;
  • Teach graduate MBA and Executive MBA courses as needed such as Organizational Leadership and Change, Organizational Communication for Leaders, Strategic Planning & Policy;
  • Participate in student advising, undergraduate internships, on-campus activities, and off-site field trips enhancing experiential education;
  • Participate in new program creation, faculty development, and community enrichment;
  • Expand employer and industry relationships, and maintain accreditation.

 

Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated evidence of successful teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels;
  • Adept at teaching courses in different modalities in person, hybrid, online and asynchronous;
  • Earned terminal degree in a business discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in a specialty area preferred.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional industry certifications;
  • Related industry experience;
  • Established industry network;
  • Evidence of successful grant procurement;
  • Active research and professional development interests;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team to achieve project goals.
