About SUNY Broome Community College:

SUNY Broome Community College is a comprehensive community college located in the scenic Southern Tier of New York.  The College has over 7,700 students annually, and services over 6,100 students per semester in Liberal Arts, Business & Professional Studies, Health Sciences, and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) programs.  An additional 1,600 students are served through the College's workforce and non-credit programs.


Job Description:

SUNY Broome Community College is seeking candidates for part-time adjunct instructor teaching in the Health Studies department.

Part-time adjunct instructor needed to teach a variety of Health Studies courses.  Courses that may be needed:  Clinical patient care including but not limited to patient vitals, urinalysis, phlebotomy, EKG's, patient histories, and health related courses.


Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field is required.  A Master's degree is preferred.

Preference given for relevant clinical patient care work experience.

Prior teaching, especially in a community college environment, is preferred.

Applicants should be comfortable in the learner-centered classroom and have a strong commitment to the community college mission.

Applicants should be comfortable in an online learning environment and/or willingness to learn to deliver material in this modality.
