SUNY Broome Community College has an immediate opening for a full-time, 12-month, tenure track faculty position as Nursing Clinical and Simulation Coordinator. This full-time position includes a benefits package with ample vacation time, paid holidays, sick leave, medical and dental plans, and optional vision and flexible benefit plans.
The Coordinator will plan, implement, and oversee the clinical and simulation programs; act as a liaison between the Nursing Program and the affiliating clinical agencies and institutions; and work collaboratively with the Associate Dean for Nursing, the Nursing Program Chair, the Nursing faculty, and other Nursing staff to ensure attainment of student learning and program goals.

Requirements:
A Master's degree in Nursing is required; a Bachelor's degree in Nursing will be considered if the individual is in progress towards a Master's degree in Nursing with attainment expected within four (4) years of hire.
Must be licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in New York State.
Must obtain Certified Health Simulation Education (CHSE) certification within two (2) years of hire.
Three (3) to four (4) years of nursing experience with two (2) years of hospital-based clinical nursing experience is required.
Medical, surgical, and simulation experience is preferred. Teaching experience is desired.
One (1) year of appropriate leadership experience is desired.
This position requires travel to and from the college and affiliating clinical agencies/institutions.
Additional Information:
The annual salary for this position is $72,207.
Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
