Introduction

This internship will be on-site at the San Diego campus for 12 weeks in summer 2025. Applicants mut be enrolled in a program through at least fall 2025.

Job Mission

As a Data Engineer at ASML, you will play a critical role in developing the data pipeline for the laser machine data and driving the technical details of the projects that would ultimately drive customer satisfaction.

Job Description

• Develop data pipeline solutions to contribute towards feature and roadmap.
• Demonstrate systematic problem-solving to resolve problems and standardize solutions.
• Interact with cross-functional teams to contribute to system design changes and improving system performances.
• Work towards adoption of best industry practices in code health, testing, and maintainability.
• Contribute to automated continuous data integration pipeline to build, test, and release.
• Collaborate with business users on business requirements to meet the business goals.

Education and Experience

• Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information System, or other related fields.
• Knowledge or experience using SQL Server or other Database Technology.
• Familiar with SQL Server Integration Services and PowerShell Scripting.
• Ability to write complex queries using SQL.
• Knowledge or experience with .NET, distributed, parallel programming.

Other Information

• This position is located on-site San Diego, CA. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.

• Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

• Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
