Project Lead Cost of Goods - Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

Introduction

A challenging project management opportunity for seasoned professionals within ASML's Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) sector. Within this sector the Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) department is responsible for the supply chain introduction and industrialization of new products.

Job Mission

As SS&P PL for Cost of Goods, you will be responsible for coordinating, reporting, and driving progress on the EUV Source cost roadmaps. You will work closely with the Product Lifecycle Management teams, Sourcing clusters, Cost Engineering, Design & Engineering, and EUV Source Cost Program to develop and drive a successful CoG roadmap for specific product families. You will also support the SS&P Project Leaders on CoG for their System Function or Source Cluster scope, the Source Cost PCM, and BL Cost Progress Reviews. Roles and Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Drives CoG cost down opportunities (both commercial and design to cost) throughout the organization.

  • Evaluates opportunities with cost savings potential.

  • Drives 'should cost' analysis to support the procurement sector.

  • Provides transparent and accurate insights on CoG status and roadmaps.

  • Provides support for multiyear financial planning.

  • Interfaces with multiple stakeholders mainly within sourcing, product development, and finance to collect business insights.

  • Identifies and drives cost management process and tooling improvements.

  • Tracks, manages, and forecasts supplier NRE costs in collaboration with sourcing and finance departments.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or other engineering fields.
  • At least 5 years relevant work-experience in an NPI environment preferably in a high-tech industry

  • Proven track record in project management and leading multi-disciplinary teams

Other Information

You will be working in the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement (SS&P) Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) team. You will report to the manager of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) Program Management.

  • This position is located on-site in San Diego, CA. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.

  • A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week working from home).

  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

  • May require travel (domestic and/or international) dependent on business needs.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

$106,500-177,500

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
