Summary of Position

Under the supervision of the Training Director, coordinate activities of program support to the interdisciplinary training program, Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND). Responsibilities include recruitment, planning and scheduling program related meetings and events, communicating with external partners, and assisting with program-related and federal data collection requirements.

Other minimum qualifications

High school graduation and four years of related experience involving progressive responsible duties requiring discretion and independent judgement or Associate’s Degree and two years of related experience or a combination of higher education and related experience equal to four years. Ability to perform computer work and keyboarding duties as specified by hiring department/unit. Willingness to take campus-sponsored work-related short courses. Understanding of programming terminology and familiarity with computer-based procedures. Experience in public relations, marketing, telecommunications or electronics as specified by department. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and the general public.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

College graduation. Completion of courses in related subjects at the college/university level. Supervisory experience. Experience gained in the institution to be served, or within the University System. Experience with business functions in human service/medical setting.

Duty/Responsibility

In conjunction with NH-ME LEND Training Director perform a wide array of complex responsibilities in support of program activities, project planning and monitoring, specialized communications, and special projects. Initiate and maintain contact with internal and external departments, units, and/or organizations to coordinate program details, identify and resolve problems, and provide specialized program information.

Duty/Responsibility

Communicate, interpret, and clarify program related matters and specific policy information; recommend updating and/or developing policies and procedures.

Arrange schedules appointments, conference calls, and meetings, and make complex travel arrangements for staff. Provide support (notetaking) and participate in program meetings requested. Organize conferences and events, including making arrangements for staffing and technical support, facilities, registration, and catering; monitoring budgets; and providing information to participants.

Duty/Responsibility

Create and prepare NH-ME LEND-related documents, such as agendas, presentations, reports, correspondence, and curriculum/course materials, program handbooks, by using business or academic program standards and/or technical/scientific protocols. Coordinate appropriate outreach and marketing activities as assigned. Perform special functions for the NH-ME LEND program, such as maintaining and updating the website, coordinating needs for space and telecommunications, and developing forms and procedures.

Duty/Responsibility

Assist Program Director and Training Director with all program data collection processes. Maintain and update National Information Reporting System project databases for federal reporting purposes, perform data entry and retrieval, create spreadsheets and reports, and compile statistics. (Registration Survey, Leadership and Clinical Partner Surveys, etc.)

Assist with all aspects of purchasing through USNH Procurement; purchase supplies, services, and equipment; process travel reimbursements and produce financial reports as assigned. Research information, assist in preparing reports, and disseminate information as required.
