The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Suicide Prevention Training Manager is an integral part of reducing veteran suicide and raising awareness through both internal and external suicide prevention and intervention efforts. This role oversees a team of subject matter experts tasked with developing WWP's suicide prevention strategy and equipping others in suicide prevention, postvention, and lethal means safety. The Suicide Prevention Training Manager supports the Triage leadership team by providing training, program evaluation, and the analysis of programmatic Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), service delivery metrics, and financials to meet the service needs of warriors and their families.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a team of local and remote suicide prevention specialists focused on delivering high levels of service, training, support, and subject matter expertise
Oversee the delivery and evaluation of Wounded Warrior Project's Suicide Prevention Program initiatives for both internal and external stakeholders.
Partner with senior leadership and other stakeholders in the development of short- and long-term learning strategies that support programmatic and organizational needs.
Monitor team performance. Collect and analyze relevant data and prepare statistical reports with performance metrics to demonstrate the productivity, quality, and effectiveness of the Suicide Prevention program.
Serve as a mentor to the team, developing their skills and abilities, and supporting them as they provide internal and external programming.
Create and produce reports for internal WWP departments and external partners on the impact associated with suicide prevention efforts.
Promote a supportive working environment that encourages teammates to proactively address issues and solve problems.
Coordinate with other Mental Health and Wellness teams to ensure national initiatives are in alignment.
Develop and lead suicide prevention training curricula to maximize impact on strategic measurement scales.
Facilitate training and provide support to internal and external stakeholders.
Promote access to additional prevention training programs, including training additional trainers.
Work collaboratively with the Mental Health Triage team to implement and analyze early detection measures and appropriate interventions.
Design and execute monitoring processes, including conducting file audits, assessments, documenting results, and analyzing data trends.
Generate database and budget reports on a regular basis for leadership.
Work with other WWP staff to develop and implement processes that ensure grant compliance.
Serve as the primary point of contact for collaboration with IT, Metrics, and Marketing/Media teams.
Serve as a subject matter expert for suicide prevention initiatives.

EXPERIENCE
Requirements
Five years of experience working with veteran-focused mental health programming or case management and assisting military and veteran populations in support of their mental health well-being and readjustment.
Three years of experience delivering or facilitating training for adult learners.
Three years of experience in program metrics.
Three years of experience in business management, grant-making, strategy consulting, impact investing, finance management, philanthropic capital, or grants.
Two years of staff management or leadership experience.
Preferences
Seven years of experience working with and providing support to wounded service members who are dealing with both visible and invisible injuries, e.g., brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, and combat stress.
Five years of experience designing curriculum-based training for adult learners.
Five years of experience delivering mental health training to adult learners.
Three years of staff management or leadership experience.
EDUCATION
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, clinical psychology, rehabilitation counseling, case management, health services administration, or related mental health field.
Preferences
Master's degree in social work, psychology, clinical psychology, rehabilitation counseling, case management, health services administration, or related mental health field.
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURE
Requirements
Valid state-issued driver's license.
ASIST Certified.
Preferences
ASIST Trainer Certified.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

For Colorado Applicants: The estimated hiring range for this position is between $95,961 - $119,952 annual base salary,subject to a candidate's combination of experience, qualifications, and credentials. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance incentive.
For San Diego, California and Tacoma, Washington Applicants: The estimated hiring range for this position is between $105,100 - $131,376 annual base salary,subject to a candidate's combination of experience, qualifications, and credentials. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance incentive.
For Washington, D.C. Applicants: The estimated hiring range for this position is between $109,670 - $137,088 annual base salary,subject to a candidate's combination of experience, qualifications, and credentials. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance incentive.
For New York Applicants: The estimated hiring range for this position is between $114,240 - $142,800 annual base salary,subject to a candidate's combination of experience, qualifications, and credentials. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance incentive.
