- Staff the Testing Center proctoring station during available hours on an agreed schedule at the direction of Director of Testing
- Administer and monitor exams and follow all necessary procedures (check-in, set up, password entry, client escort seating, monitor, score reporting)
- Navigate multiple test delivery systems simultaneously and distinguish between each in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment
- Register individuals for testing
- Keep personal proctoring/test administration certifications current
- Maintain integrity and compliance with test security and testing vendor regulations
- Communicate policies, procedures, and regulations regarding testing to students and testing candidates
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems as necessary
- Proctor assessments conducted as a part of distance learning and supplemental course sites maintaining test security and integrity in accordance with the college and the Mississippi Virtual Community College protocols.
- Proctor assessments and supplemental course site examinations for locally-hosted online and traditional (face-to-face) courses.
- Proctor exams for students with approved accommodations and provide those accommodations in compliance with ADA regulations.
- Greet students and testing clients
- Assist students with career assessments, job searches, resumes as needed
- Assist other areas of department as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in related field preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize work; efficient in Word and Excel; ability to work with a diverse group of people
- Two years of related experience
