Job Summary

Develops integrated master schedules for large, complex engineering and manufacturing programs. Acts as a key member of the Program Management team. Performs a variety of schedule analysis including but not limited to variance and Critical Path analysis. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Incumbents in the position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority. This is a hybrid job with 3 days on-site weekly #LI-hybrid

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborates directly with Program Managers, functional managers, and other support personnel to develop fully integrated, detailed baseline plans and maintain ongoing program schedules, ensuring they are level-loaded and tasks are properly linked.
  • Develops and manages project schedules using Gantt charts to visually represent task timelines and dependencies.
  • Applies Critical Path Method (CPM) techniques with Primavera (P6) software to identify and manage critical tasks that impact the project's overall completion time.
  • Performs variance, trend, and 'what if' analyses using EVMS (Earned Value Management System), and develops any necessary corrective actions and workarounds or recovery plans as required.
  • Maintains, monitors, and reports on schedule performance.
  • Prepares and maintains manpower information for regular forecast reports.
  • Conducts weekly schedule status review meetings with assigned program personnel.
  • Updates and submits all required customer schedules and documentation as needed.
  • Supports the proposal process, including reviewing Request for Proposal (RFP) documents and developing resource loaded schedules to support RFP responses when required.
Minimum Job Requirements

A four-year college degree, or equivalent, in business administration or finance or related discipline; plus a minimum of five years' experience in a scheduling and finance environment. Must be a US citizen, eligible to work in a DoD cleared facility. Prior working knowledge of CPM, PERT, Gantt, and line-of balance scheduling techniques. Must have prior earned value concept knowledge and CSSR (cost schedule status report) development and reporting experience. Must have working knowledge in variety of software packages, including Excel, Word, Primavera (P6). Required logical thought processes. Must possess good interpersonal skills (communication, facilitation, and teamwork).

Cubic Pay Range:

$85,000 - $145,189 + benefits.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
