Overview

Designs, develops, implements and oversees the organization's environmental, health and safety programs

and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities and to ensure that all facilities are in

compliance with regulations | Responsibilities are within the Environmental Health and Safety Function as a

generalist or in a combination of Disciplines

Major Position Responsibilities

Outlines and implements policies or programs to educate and promote employee health and

safety or environmental compliance.

* Delivers training programs educating staff on environmental concerns or health and safety

risks found in the organization.

* Communicates regularly with management and administration regarding the status of

environmental initiatives.

* Ensures that training records, health/safety manuals or handbooks, incident/accident reports,

or other documentation are appropriately maintained.

* Tracks and documents accidents to understand causes and recommend changes to prevent

future accidents.

* Monitors known health, safety, or environmental hazards, such as noise, air, or wastewater

pollution levels.

* Coordinates inspection of facilities, vehicles, or equipment and processes recommending

corrections or additional precautions to ensure compliance to established regulations.

* Communicates facility-specific emergency response or evacuation plans.

* Has a broad and current knowledge of all government and applicable industry safety

regulations.

Basic Qualifications

Required Education: Asociate's Degree OR Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education & Experience

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree

Discipline/Major: Environmental Health and Safety, Human Resources or related discipline preferred

Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): 0-3 years of relevant experience

Pay Range (USD)
Min -$54,670 Max $101,130
Pay Transparency Statement
The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the range during the hiring process.
Additional Compensation
Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company's Gain Sharing Program.
