Job Summary
To perform complex electrical work in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, fixtures and wiring.

Ability to use computer, or other electronic devices, for email, communications, report preparation, work order system, and various other reporting tasks.
Familiarity and advance troubleshooting skills with electrical technical systems including VFD Data recorder technical skills, Variable Frequency Drives, Battery Inverter Power Systems (UPS & IPS) and Motor Controls.
Licensure & Certification
State of Michigan Journeyman or Master's Electrical license.
Work Schedule
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
The selected candidates might be asked to be on-call, work overtime, and respond to after hours emergencies.

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the U-M Skilled Trades Union, Inc., which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
