Sayres is seeking a Mid Logistics/Configuration Management Analyst located in San Diego with Secret Clearance, verifiable in DISS.
You will have the opportunity to support the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) via PEO C4I Engineering Support Services at Naval Base Point Loma Old Town Campus.
- Support the implementation and/or maintenance of the following: CM Policy and Process, Configuration and Data Management Plan, CM Work Instructions, CDRL Management, CM Data and Document Management, As-Built Baseline
- Manage and track CDRL delivery items, facilitates delivery item review between Government and Supplier, coordinate with CM Team on baseline tracking, support APM/SE in identification and controlling configuration items and baselines, facilitate technical documentation reviews, and process ECRs, ICRs, NCRs.
- Support the transfer of material custody process (use of DD-1149 forms)
Required Experience and Abilities
- 4-7 years of relevant experience
- ILS background (understands NIWCs ILS processes and software tools)
- Have a background and knowledge of procurement
- Fully understand the transfer of material custody process (use of DD-1149 forms)
- Experience in Configuration Management (tracking/management of system configurations (software and hardware versions) per site)
Education, Work Experience, and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required. Bachelor's degree may be substituted for four (4) additional years of Defense Industry/DoN configuration management experience in addition to the minimum required experience (for a total of eight (8) years).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project is desired
- SECRET clearance
The salary for this position is likely $70,000 - $90,000. Salary ranges are not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
