Communication & Media Studies, Faculty - 10 Month

Class Description

The Communication Arts Department at CCBC, with a collaborative team of full-time Communication Studies faculty, is seeking one ten (10) month faculty to reach Communication Studies courses who show enthusiasm for working together to provide strong curriculum and pedagogy to our diverse student population.  Fifteen contact hours of instruction, five office hours, college and community service and ongoing profession development are required.  The position is located on the Catonsville and/or Owings Mills locations but may require teaching classes at other locations scheduled during days, evenings, or online.

Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Communication Studies, Mass Communication, or a related Communication degree.
  • Experience using classroom technology and learning management systems preferred
  • Two (2) years teaching experience, college teaching experience preferred
  • Proficient computer skills and MicroSoft applications knowledge.
