POSITION GOALS
- Demonstrate and promote a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Provide both classroom and lab instruction to adult non-credit Patient Care Technician students utilizing an approved training curriculum and materials.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver approved curriculum on a daily basis.
- Plan and organize instructional materials/supply inventories/tools/equipment.
- Evaluate and assist in the resolution of student concerns.
- Prepare lesson plans and course syllabus.
- Track student grades and attendance.
- Submit grades and attendance on a monthly basis.
- Lead, inspire, motivate, and advise students to actively participate in all aspects of their educational process.
- Maintain expertise in the subject area.
- Provide regular, accurate and timely feedback to students and the school concerning academics, behavior, attendance, etc.
- Assist Program Manager with coordination of student externships.
- Ability to work directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Demonstrate and promote a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Comply with all safety, fire, and smoking regulations.
- Complete all mandatory compliance and safety training as scheduled by Human Resources.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in Patient Care.
- Current industry certification required, such as: RMA, CMA, PCT or similar.
- A minimum of two years teaching experience preferred.
The Patient Care programs run from February through May at Camden County College affiliate- Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional located in Cape May Court House, NJ.
