Job Description
As a Visiting Faculty responsibilities for this position will vary based on rank. The role may involve teaching undergraduate or graduate courses, as applicable; contributing to course and curriculum development; engaging in research or scholarly activities, if applicable; participating in College and University committees or initiatives; and performing other duties as assigned.

- Plans and teaches courses in assigned course.
- Prepares syllabi, instruction materials, coordinates lectures, tests, and evaluates.
- Maintains highest possible standards of classroom instruction.
- Keeps updated of new information and developments in field of instruction.
- Actively serves on university committees.
- Actively participates in institutional meetings.
- Maintains professional skills through regular professional development, and other activities appropriate to higher education faculty.
- Assists with the development of curriculum.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in the field of instruction.
- Must possess a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours from a regionally accredited institution in the field of instruction.

- Knowledge of use of technology in university teaching.
- Ability to collaborate both within and outside the University in the development and delivering of instruction resulting in improved student learning.
- Ability to value continued scholarship and service to the university.
- Ability or potential to develop a successful research program if applicable.
- Ability to contribute effectively and collegially to a positive, dynamic, and collaborative learning environment for the student population.
